Delegates are Diamonds Awards

For the first year of the Delegates are Diamonds Conference, the nominees for Delegate of the Year and Rising Star of the Year have been chosen by IEUA WA Branch staff and organisers.

 

The two award winners will be judged on the following criteria. The Rising Star Award is open to all IEUA WA Branch members.

• Works towards building networks

• Builds Union power in their workplace

• Understands collectivism

• Active in Social Justice/Community

• Active Communicator

• Occupational Safety and Health

• Resolves Issues in the workplace

• Identifies others Union activists

• Speaks out against injustice

• Has perseverance

• Is an inspiration to other Union members

• Is an advocate for others

• Want to see positive change in their workplaces
  
  
  In future years, the nominees will be chosen by the IEUA WA Branch membership. Details about the 2019 Awards will be circulated mid-2018.
